Herbalife India, a global nutrition company,  has  announced its association with Indian tennis star Somdev Devvarman for its nutrition and energy products. Somdev will endorse some of his personal Herbalife favourites like Formula 1 Nutritional Shake and Afresh Energy Drink Mix.

Commenting on the association, Ajay Khanna, country head, Herbalife India said, "We are extremely happy and proud to welcome a budding tennis champion like Somdev into the Herbalife family. Somdev embodies the perfect combination of a healthy mind and body, this coupled with his achievement at such a young age, will be a good example to inspire the youth to live healthy.

Somdev has impressive achievements to his credit within a relatively short span of a professional tennis career. The talented and dynamic athlete turned pro in 2008 and climbed 930 places reaching #71 in April 2011. With his stellar performance Somdev won 2 gold medals at the Asian Games and gold at The Commonwealth Games in 2010. His string of achievements includes being the runner-up at the South African Open in February 2011 and securing direct entry to the 2010 US Open. Somdev is also the first Indian to qualify for the French Open in 13 years.
